How can I naturally decrease my fertility/cause infertility?
I heard alcohol and caffeine consumption helps lessen the risk of conception, so I’m on the right track. But are there any supplements that are known to decrease a woman’s fertility? I already have an IUD, but it never hurts to play it safe. I do not care about the possibility of being permanently unable to bear children; that would actually be a plus. Also a plus are things that raise the risk of miscarriage if one of those parasites manage to make it to implantation. Thanks

Can IUDs Cause Infertility in Women Who Haven't Had Children?
I am interested in getting a Mirena IUD, but I have not had any children yet. I know that I can certainly get an IUD and it will work even though I haven’t had a child, but my question is with fertility after Mirena. Has Mirena been known to cause infertility in women who use it before having their first child? I do want to have children someday; just not today!

I heard somewhere that tuna causes infertility??? Then I heard or read somewhere that it boosts fertility? What is your opinion?
Actually back in 2002 they said that Tuna and Swordfish had high levels of mercury!!! I was eating tuna the other day and a friend mentioned it!! She told me she had heard from many people that it can cause infertility….which I thought was absolute crap!!!

Is there a link between gum disease and infertility?
I have been trying to get pregnant since 2005. I have a son who was born in 2004, so I know I am able to have children.
I was recently diagnosed with mild gum disease (for which I am having scaling and root planing done today).
My question is, since gum disease can cause other problems in the body, could it also be affecting my fertility?

Does the birth control pill lead to infertility later on in life?
My mom and my friend’s mom told me that going on the birth control pill when you’re young (teens or early 20s) can make it hard to conceive when you’re older and want to get pregnant. I was supposed to go on the birth control pill when I was 14 to regulate periods, but my mom wouldn’t let me for that reason; however my doctor said that the pill doesn’t affect fertility later on in life. Is it true that the pill affects fertility?

When to seek infertility treatment with different circumstances?
My circumstances are a little different than most. One circumstance being in my late 20’s I donated eggs two times (which i have read takes away years of fertility), and two, my mother went through menopause at an extremely early age (before 40). I am now 32 and trying to conceive with no luck. When should I seek help?
