My friend got chlamydia for 2 years before getting treated and now a year has past and she’s afraid that she can’t have children in the future and she’s only in her 20s. She doesn’t know where to find information with her problem.

If someone has gonorrhea or chlamydia and is left untreated, can it cause infertility or pelvic inflamitory disease? How common does this occor? How long would one have to be left untreated for infertility or PID to take place? What are the side effects of PID, & would you know if you had PID?

I got rushed to hospital with severe pains. I got told i have chlamydia. Am i probaly already infertile if i have had it for either 3 years. or 8 months. ??

I just recently found out that I have chlamydia. I believe that I have had it for a little over 8 months now, maybe even longer. I am getting it treated now. However my fiance and I are, well were, trying to conceive. I am really worried that this may cause problems with infertility. Im just wondering if anyone knows how long it takes to expierence problems or even if anyone has any success stories to give me hope! Thank you for any help.
