Stop Anxiety Attacks and Regain Control of Life
For the millions of people in the world that go through anxiety attacks, they know all too well how serious this problem is.
If you are among the millions of people with an anxiety disorder, please realize that while you may feel devastated, it is important to see what treatments are available by talking to your physician. Once you stop anxiety attacks, life becomes much better, at work, school, and home.
The symptoms associated with anxiety attacks are varied but the most common include mood swings, chest tightness or pain, problems with digestion, irritation, fast heart rate, and much more. Obviously, this is scary but your doctor will start by conducting tests to confirm you have an anxiety disorder and that no other problem is occurring. Once confirmed, you will be provided with several treatment options and your doctor will guide you to the one he/she feels will be best for you.
With anxiety attacks being such a huge problem, the amount of research being conducted by scientists and medical professionals has increased. Even though these professionals do not agree on everything, such as this being an inherited problem. Even so, most believe that two specific factors are associated with anxiety attacks to include chemical imbalance in the brain and post traumatic stress disorder. More studies will be conducted to gain even more insight but many answers are now available.
Regarding the chemical imbalance in the brain, it is has been identified that neurotransmitters in the brain responsible for sending signals and loaded with chemicals somehow changes. When the chemicals become imbalanced, signals can no longer be sent properly. As a result, anxiety attacks happen. Then for post traumatic stress disorder, this is triggered by tragic occurrences in life to include death, divorce, illness, or a loved one going to war, again, triggering an anxiety attack.
If you deal with anxiety attacks, even if you only have them on occasion, all of the symptoms you face, the stomachaches, headaches, heart palpitations, chest pain, and mood swings can be treated. Remember, anxiety attacks can be so severe that people honestly believe they are having a heart attack, which results in them to be rushed to the emergency room.
By talking to your doctor, the two of you can come up with solutions so you can stop anxiety attacks and take back control of your life.
